General Education Requirements

For a bachelor's degree, the General Education program requires 37 semester hours as detailed below. For an associate degree, 18 semester hours are required.

The Core categories of the general education requirements are in English, Quantitative Literacy, Information Literacy & American Institutions.
- Core Areas

Students must complete 24 credit hours with a minimum of 3 credit hours in each knowledge area.
- Knowledge Area: Fine Arts (F)
- Knowledge Area: Interdisciplinary (D)
- Knowledge Area: Humanities (H)
- Knowledge Area: Social and Behavioral Sciences (S)
- Knowledge Area: Life and Physical Science (L or P)
