Construction Services

 The Construction Services area encompasses major projects such as the construction of new buildings, concrete work, paving, and remodeling.  Unlike repairs and maintenance which are handled in-house by SUU's Facilities Management staff, construction projects are bid out to independent contractors.  Nolan Truman is the manager of Construction Services and is responsible for coordinating the design and implementation of various projects and ensuring that they meet the standards outlined in the contract. Nolan also works closely with the Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) which oversees all state funded facilities.  In addition, Construction Services provides necessary inspections and coordinates contractor meetings for all campus construction projects.
