Description Responsibilities include: Review and keep medical records on all campers and staff. Follow BSA health and safety standards. Treat patients in basic First Aid. Refer serious health problems to camp physician. Maintain medical log on all accidents and treatments at camp. Keep medical office clean and sanitary. Assist First Aid Director with Merit Badge instruction. Advise Program Director in the case of any staff illnesses. Advise Camp Director and Program Director in the case of any serious emergencies. Other assignments from Camp Director. Maintain health department regulations. Keep commissary area clean. Assist in Trading Post during commissary down time. Other assignments from Business Manager.

Qualifications All camp staff positions require individuals to become registered members of the Boy Scouts of America, have a current (within one year) medical examination, to obtain and wear the proper uniform as required, and be able to work the entire summer season with a minimum amount of time off. 18 years of age and older: (Some positions have a minimum age requirement of 21) Able to lift up to 25 pounds and physically capable of performing required job duties. Able to supervise younger staff. Able to be on time and work in an independent environment. Able to keep records, prepare reports, and give and receive feedback. Preferred knowledge or background for position that is being applied for. Preferred previous experience as camp staff, either volunteer or paid. Preferred a sense of ADVENTURE!
