| Work Hours | There are no set days in a week or month that would require travel. Equally, we may be gone 10 days or no days in any given month. We need a person who is available both weekdays and weekends. Frequently, we have only 3 or 4 days notice that a trip will be upcoming and sometimes we have several weeks notice. Trip cancellations can also be short notice. |
| Qualifications | We are looking for a person who loves animals and is willing to be the "foster parent" in our absence. The dog must be walked every afternoon through Park Discovery and taken out in the morning and evening. We hope to find someone who can be with the pets as much as possible throughout the day and will be at home in the evenings. The dog will want to sleep with you at night; we hope that will be acceptable. Our qualifications are that you love animals, can be trusted with the responsibility of caring for the pets and our home, and be with the animals throughout the day/evenings with the exception of class hours. |
