Southern Utah University gymnastics will host its annual Pizza Factory Fundraiser on Thursday, November 4, and students and members of the community are encouraged to attend. The event is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Starlight Room of the Sharwan Smith Center. Fans and supporters can enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza, breadsticks and beverages for only $8 for adults and $4 for children ten and under. SUU Flippin' Birds shirts will also be for sale during the event for $10. "The Pizza Factory has been very kind to us in sponsoring this event every year," head coach Scott Bauman said. "This is also one of the team's favorite nights as they have a chance to interact with the community." SUU gymnastics will open its 2011 season on January 7, when the Thunderbirds travel to Utah State. The T-Birds will host their home opener on January 14, when Southern Utah welcomes 2010 NCAA National Champion UCLA to the Centrum Arena.
