Southern Utah University would like to invite all alumni — near and far — to join in a weekend of celebration for the University’s annual Homecoming celebration Sept. 16 and 17, 2011. This year’s festivities mark many a milestone for the University and will include the dedication of the new Center for Health and Molecular Sciences as well as a special announcement from SUU President Michael T. Benson as the University unveils its most ambitious fundraising campaign in institutional history. Not to be outdone, the Thunderbird Football squad is, of course, steadfastly preparing for it last Homecoming match as defending champions of the Great West Conference and will kick off against Texas-San Antonio at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Many of this year’s Homecoming activities are free, and all are open to alumni, students and friends of the University.
