ABSTRACT: Today, laser processing systems employing DPSSLs or fiber lasers are essential to the production of semiconductor logic and memory devices, solar cells, flexible printed circuit boards, integrated circuit packages, and other microelectronic components and devices. Advanced computational techniques have emerged to enable reliable modeling of advanced solid state photonics sources and laser-material interactions.
