Campus and Labs


Photo: SUU Library SUU has a beautiful Campus with many outdoor activities within close driving distance. Warm weather activities include hiking, rock climbing, fishing, and mountain biking in the great mountains that are in the back yard of SUU. Cold Weather activities include snowboarding and skiing at Brian Ski Resort, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and sledding.

There are also many other activities that go on at SUU that are a part of Campus Life.


Photo: SUU Linux Lab The CSIS department has great labs to help the students receive the hands on training they need to excel in the job market.

These labs include:

Linux Lab

The Linux lab is located on the 3rd floor of the ELC in room 308. This lab is used mostly by the Computer Science students for programming.

Networking Lab

The Networking lab is located on the 2nd floor of the ELC in room 204. It provides a place for students to get hands on experience setting up and administering different types of servers and workstations including Novell, Linux, and Windows.

Forensics Lab

The Forensics lab is located on the 2nd floor of the the ELC in room 210. It has 20 networked machines equipped with 24 inch LCD monitors.
