Southern Utah University, Cedar City, Utah: Don’t flowers look nicer in an attractive vase? Doesn’t hot chocolate taste sweeter in a hand-crafted mug? Aren’t expressions of love more meaningful when associated with an art form that has been celebrated for centuries? Instead of perpetuating the standard cliché of flowers and chocolates this year, why not surprise the ones you love with a gift that can only be found at the Annual SUU Ceramics Guild Valentine’s Sale. Don’t miss your unique gift buying opportunity Wednesday, February 12 Through Friday February 14, 2014, in the Living Room of the Sharwan Smith Center from 10am to 3pm. The sale is open to the general public who are encouraged to attend.
SUU’s Ceramics Guild have made a diverse array of functional and decorative gifts perfect for your parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and, of course, don’t forget that special someone. Give a gift that will last for centuries and commemorate all the possibilities 2014 has to offer. All of the items are finished with glazes that are food safe and contain no lead. Have confidence in the perfect gift this year with the help of the Ceramics Guild and the talented artist at SUU.
All of the proceeds from the event go towards sending Guild members to the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts annual conference. This year the conference will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, March 2014.
