The Spanish Program and the Department of Foreign Languages and Philosophy invite you to the third annual Latin American and Iberian Film Festival. For four weeks, we will be showing films from Spain, Mexico/US, Argentina, and Brazil. All film screenings are free and open to the public.
All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles.
Nueve reinas (Nine Queens) (2000) - Directed by Fabián Bielinsky, this Argentine crime thriller is considered a classic in the country’s film history. Set in Buenos Aires, the story centers on two con artists who team up after meeting in a convenience store and decide to cooperate in a major scam (Rated R for strong language).
