The Southern Utah University Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) promotes excellence in teaching and supports faculty learning inside and outside of the classroom. The Center offers routine and needs-based training, facilitating workshops and roundtables, coordinating Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs), and administering a variety of faculty academies throughout the academic year.
The CETL (AD 303G) welcomes walk-in visits during the Fall 2015 Semester. The office is staffed on the following days and times:
Mondays from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM (Deborah Snider)
Tuesdays from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM (Johnny MacLean)
Tuesdays from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM (Grant Corser)
Wednesdays from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM (Deborah Snider)
Thursdays from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Grant Corser)
Faculty are encouraged to stop by to discuss pedagogy, get feedback on a syllabus, or to arrange a class visit or observation exchange. Grant Corser, the CETL Director, can also be reached via email.
