Financial Aid & Scholarships

Private Scholarships

Some organizations offer educational funding which must be filtered through our office if you are receiving federal aid. Organizations that offer such funds may be (but are not limited to) the following: high school, church, employers (you or your parents), clubs to which you or your parents belong (Rotary, Elks, Daughters of the American Revolution, etc.), organizations for which you have done volunteer work, and possible future employers.

You may also seek private scholarships through web sites such as www.fastweb.com or DO NOT PAY FOR ASSISTANCE IN FINDING SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL AID. We can offer the same services for free through our office. Please contact Paul Allen for additional information.

We have set up an email listserve where we periodically send out notices of scholarship opportunities that have come to our attention. If you would like to sign up for the listserve and receive these scholarship newsletters, you can do so here.

If you would like to notify SUU students of a Scholarship Opportunity, please contact Paul Allen with the scholarship information. After reviewing the scholarship, we will include it in an upcoming Scholarship Newsletter.
