Step 2: Assessment Audiences:

• Accrediting agencies
  
  Message: SUU has an assessment plan. We regularly evaluate learning processes and outcomes; we measure satisfaction outcomes; we respond to university stakeholders for data, and we provide resources to academic and service units for improvement.
  
  Medium: Self-study reports, institutional research activities, assessment reports, dean's council actions on curriculum, web-based information on planning and assessment.
• External governing boards
  
  Message: SUU is assessing its purposes and performance. Multiple mechanisms are in place or planned for measuring and improving.
  
  Medium: Performance reports, Biennial assessment reports to the Legislature, Annual report of the University.
• Campus community
  
  Message: Both at university and unit levels, information is being provided that will assure/improve the quality and value of learning processes and outcomes, and that will measure satisfaction outcomes.
  
  Medium: Unit plans, university assessment activities and feedback, college reports, student surveys, interviews, and feedback.
