- Graduate Record Exam (GRE): Official GRE test scores must be on file before an applicant can be matriculated into the degree program. All prospective students must take the GRE. The GRE test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking and analytical writing skills. It is a gauge of your undergraduate achievement. Students can register for the GRE on line at gre.org and can also take practice tests on-line. SUU requires a combined GRE score of 850 on the verbal and quantitave sections for full admission.
