Style Guide - Faculty/Staff Home Pages
Faculty and staff can have pages on the SUU web server for purposes related to their employment at the university. The home page must follow the standard SUU template. Underlying pages can take on any look or feel that the employee would like. Those interested in building a personal page just for entertainment should seek alternatives from outside providers.

Individuals will not have access to make modifications to the home page. However, links will be provided from the home page to Course Information, Professional Information, and Other Information.
2. Course Information (courses.html)
The Course Information page allows the individual to provide links and information related to courses taught by the individual.
3. Professional Information (professional.html)
The Professional Information page allows the individual to provide links and information related to his/her professional status, such as vita, scholarly work, professional memberships, etc.
4. Other Information (other.html)
The Other Information page allows the individual to provide links and information which do not fit in either of the two previous categories.
5. Other pages
The individual will have complete access (excluding the home page) to his/her web folder and is encouraged to make full use of the resource in providing material to students.
6. Storage Space
There are currently no restrictions on the amount of space allotted to the employee. If someone is found to be taking up excessive amounts of space, especially if they are storing non-web files, they may be contacted about cleaning up. The SUU web server is not a storage server, employees should only places files on the web server that are intended for public-access viewing on the web and should remove files when they are no longer needed.
