Brian is 28 years old and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology at Southern Utah University. He has fulfilled a wide array of internships during his years at SUU ranging in scope from technical theatre work with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, to editing TICE grant proposals, and reviewing international curriculum releases for the Engineering Faculty.
Brian’s involvement with the Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service began with simple volunteer opportunities offered by the center. This was augmented by attendance to the various events they sponsored during the school year. The chance to enrich and serve in his local community has kept Brian coming back for more ever since. He believes that only a well-informed, charitable, and engaged population will be able to leave a legacy worth remembering and that the Leavitt Center is the best vehicle to get us there.
Joining the Executive Council for the Leavitt Center in 2013, Brian brings a wealth of enthusiasm and energy to the table and looks forward to the breadth of service opportunities that lie ahead.
