SUU Staff Association Hosts Legislative Forum

This Thursday, January 5, the SUU Staff Association will host a Legislative Forum with southern Utah’s Legislative Representative Evan Vickers (R) and Senator Casey Anderson (R). The two will field questions from the audience concerning the upcoming legislative session, which begins January 23.

Hosted on SUU’s campus in the Sharwan Smith Theatre, campus leaders encourage all interested faculty, staff and students to join in the discussion, which begins at 3 p.m. this Thursday.

This forum is one of the last chances for the SUU community to address questions and concerns to our legislators about their view of issues facing the State and SUU and is the only such opportunity to meet with both Vickers and Anderson before the session starts in two weeks.
