	The Graduate Student Association of Southern Utah University was established because of the growing and constant need to provide a forum where issues pertaining to graduate students are addressed. The GSA represents graduate students' academic, professional, and social interests at the University. Program Delegates convey graduate students' concerns and ideas from each area of study to the GSA council and to the University. The Delegates have identified the following five goals as high priority for the 2007-2008 school-year. To recruit delegates from each graduate program and to gain representation in SUUSA. To acquire a space specifically for Graduate Students on campus. To modify and create SUU policies and procedures that specifically support graduate students. To strengthen outreach programs for new and returning students, and to strengthen networking ties in the professional arena. To build a graduate culture on the SUU campus.
