Pre-Physical Therapy
Though SUU does not host a pre-physical therapy major, we offer
the support and guidance to ensure students interested in physical
therapy career are well positioned for acceptance into physical therapy
school. SUU students majoring in biology, chemistry and human nutrition
have gained admission to top physical therapy schools by completing
the required pre-physical therapy pre-requisites while pursuing their
undergraduate degree. College of Science academic advisors and prephysical
therapy faculty advisors work closely with our pre-physical
therapy students to chart the ideal academic program for their success.

Current job: Attending California State University
Long Beach for Physical Therapy
“I decided to attend SUU because I was looking for a small university where there would be smaller class sizes and an environment that really promoted learning. I felt that the classes at SUU did a great job at preparing me for admission into a graduate school and for the graduate classes I am currently taking. The professors were always willing to take the time to get to know you, help you out if you needed it, and were very knowledgeable in the subjects they were teaching.”
