In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits

September 11-November 1, 2008

In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits, an exhibition consisting of 56 striking color and black-and-white photographs, will be on Display at the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery beginning on September 11 and remain on view through November 1, 2008. Created by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History and National Geographic, the exhibition is organized for travel by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES).

This exhibition showcases photographs from the book In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits, which was published in October 2004 as a sequel to the New York Times bestseller “Through the Lens: National Geographic Greatest Portraits.”


The Braithwaite Gallery offers the campus and community an exceptional venue for well known internationally touring exhibitions as well as work by our students, faculty, and artists of Utah.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 12 noon to 7 p.m.
Located on the ground floor in the Braithwaite Liberal Arts Center building on the east end of the beautiful SUU campus.
