Southern Utah Art Invitational
Summer Exhibit and Sale
Now through September 4, 2010
The exceptional work by 25 artists from across southern Utah will be featured in the Gallery this summer. Artwork available for sale ranges in medium including watercolor, ceramics and oil. Some of this year's artists include Eric Brown, Karen Gale, Susan Harris, Brad Holt, Joy Stein, Anne Weiler-Brown, as well as many others. This exhibit will run concurrently with the summer season of the Utah Shakespearean Festival on a short walk from the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery.
This exhibit will open with a reception on Friday, June 18, 2010, at 6 p.m.
SOUTH HALL GALLERY
Life Drawings and Anatomy
Now through October 15, 2010
This class consisted of a study of bones and subcutaneous muscle structure of the human body. Drawings were also created from a live model. Students selected the artwork that represents their strongest work from the semester.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
The Braithwaite Gallery offers the campus and community an exceptional venue for well known internationally touring exhibitions as well as work by our students, faculty, and artists of Utah.
Gallery Hours:
June - August
Monday - Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
and
September - May
Tuesday - Saturday, noon to 7 p.m.
Located on the ground floor in the Braithwaite Liberal Arts Center building on the east end of the beautiful SUU campus. Free Admission.

Artist Demonstration Wednesday Evenings
Artist Brad Holt will be at the Gallery demonstrating his painting techniques on Wednesday evenings through the end of August from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call the Gallery for more information.
