Guiding Principles
We are committed to:
- Creating engaging entertainment experiences and educational outreach opportunities for our audiences and performers;
- Supporting the educational curriculum and standards of SUU's Department of Theatre Arts and Dance;
- Producing the highest caliber musical performances, artistically challenging and fiscally responsible;
- Recognizing the high value of each person's contribution to the organization;
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism in our performances and organization;
- Empowering our members to fulfill their educational potential;
- Working together in a manner that is engaging and productive;
- Reaching out to all parts of the community to connect with SUU alumni, elementary and high schools, assisted living facilities, and attract audiences ;
- Making an enduring contribution to the community through our productions;
Goals
1) To carve out a niche as the premiere musical touring group throughout the communities of t Southern Utah.
2) To develop various educational outreach programs for participating K-12 schools in Southern Utah.
3) To be a significant programming component of TAD's new BFA in Theatre/Musical Theatre Emphasis.
4) To be one of the principal student feed organizations for the Utah Shakespearean Festival's Green show and musical needs.
5) To be a major force in SUU's alumni outreach events and SUU recruitment efforts.
