Do you like to hike? Do you like to create art? Well have we got an opportunity for you. The Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA), in collaboration with professional artist throughout southern Utah, offer the best of both worlds. Southern Utah landscapes have captured the imagination of countless artists over the years. Many of these artist have taken their work into the environment. Inspired by these incredible artist SUMA and local artist have teamed up to create Art Hikes.
The first art hike of the 2014 season was Saturday, March 29, 2014. Dr. Jon Smith lead a group of Micro Movie filmmakers through Snow Canyon and demonstrated techniques and composition for Mobile-Device Filmmaking.

Nature - Inspiration - Creation - be a part of it!
Free, new hiking series invites art enthusiasts of all ages to experience the creative process through the eyes of renowned regional artists as they hike to their favorite landscapes. Hikers will be joined by Public Lands Representatives.
