Quality Service Awards at Southern Utah University

All staff, faculty and student employees are eligible for all awards. 

The Pinnacle and High Altitude Awards will be selected by an evaluation committee.  This committee will consist of:

  • SUU Trustee Member
  • SUU Faculty member
  • SUU Student
  • SUU Staff Association
  • Cedar City Community Member

*Evaluation Committee members will be selected by the Quality Service Committee
*Members on both Committees may not nominate for these awards
*The Deadline for nominations for the Pinnacle and High Altitude Awards is July 3, 2014

Pinnacle Award:

(two annually)

This is the highest honor of recognition given to an individual who demonstrates the characteristics of PEAK Quality Service.  It will be given once each semester and the recipient will receive a plaque and $200 in cash (subject to applicable taxes) or deposited into their Health Savings Account.

High Altitude Award:

(two annually)

This is awarded to a department or office for their exceptional dedication to quality service.  The selected office or department will receive an afternoon movie excursion.

Red-Handed Award:

This award is an immediate recognition for unique quality service by an individual.
