Students may change their course schedule subject to the following limitations:
A student may add courses during the first 14 calendar days of the Fall/Spring semesters. For other sessions or accelerated terms, please see the online Academic Calendar for specific dates. Additional signatures may be required by individual departments.
A student may drop or withdraw from an individual course prior to the end of the ninth week of the Fall/Spring semesters. For other sessions and terms, such as summer term or Maymester, please see the online Academic Calendar or contact the Registrar's Office for more information. Any exception to the drop policy requires a dean's signature. Additional signatures may be required by individual departments.
If a student stops attending a class without officially withdrawing, he/she will receive a “UW” (unofficial withdrawal) for the course. This grade is calculated in the GPA as an “F.”
