Nursing DEPARTMENTAL SCHOLARSHIPS -The nursing department wishes to thank the following donors:
Due to these generous donors SUU’s Nursing students are the recipients of over $13,000.00 in departmental scholarships for the 2009 – 2010 academic year. Admissions Update --- Competitive AdmissionsThe Nursing Department admits 20 pre-licensure students fall and spring semesters. This is a competitive admission based on: Cumulative GPA, Required Support Course GPA, Work/School History, Essay, and References. LPN's will apply with the Pre-licensure students and will be evaluated on the same criteria. Application deadlines are September 11, 2009, for Spring 2010; and February 12, 2010, for Fall 2010. Applicants will be notified by mail of the Admissions and Advancement Committee's decision. All decisions by the committee are final and may not be appealed. RN to BSN AdmissionsRN to BSN applications for classes starting May 2010 need to be submitted to the Department of Nursing ON or BEFORE February 19, 2010, to be considered for the May 2010 position.
