What is University Orientation (UNIV 1010)?

University Orientation (UNIV 1010) is a required course for students starting at SUU with less than 24 credits earned after graduating high school. It is designed to ease your transition to university life. You must be fully admitted to SUU before enrolling for University Orientation.

What will I do at University Orientation?

You will receive academic advisement, plan your course schedule, register or review your classes with an advisor, learn what you need to know to begin study at SUU, experience the campus environment, learn about resources available to you, meet other students, have fun, and make many new friends.

Spring Semester Orientation

Orientation for those beginning Spring 2010 semester is December 14, 2009.  Orientation will last from 8 am - 5 pm.  Because it is a class, please do not make plans to arrive late or leave early.  Enrollment in orientation is required and will begin on this page November 9th.
