How to Apply for Admission for the Summer Semester

  1. Submit an admission application ONE WEEK prior to the first day of class for summer semester and pay the application fee.
  2. Submit an official high school transcript to: SUU Admissions Office, 351 W University Blvd. Cedar City, UT 84720.

Note: If you've already been accepted to SUU and have deferred your admission, call the Admissions Office and indicate that you would like to enroll in summer courses and we will reset your admission, allowing you to register.

Enrollment Requirements for the Summer

Students must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for summer aid. Enrollment can be spread over multiple summer terms. Students who receive grant aid and choose to unenroll after the first day of class may be required to repay the funds received. Students with questions about how changing enrollment during summer will affect their aid should contact the Financial Aid and Scholarships office.

Applying for Summer Aid

Students who are admitted and enrolled for summer will be awarded financial aid for the summer if they have submitted both a FAFSA for the 2014-15 aid year, and a 'Request for Summer 2015 Financial Aid' application.
