ADVENTURE ORIENTATION

Adventure Orientation is designed to orchestrate a shared experience for participants to create social bonds that lead to lasting friendships, connect to the SUU community, and appreciate the amazing places surrounding Cedar City.  Adventure Orientation also provides the opportunity to learn and be inspired in natural landscapes through adventure.  You will begin your four day adventure camping at a group site in a BLM recreation area west of Cedar City, and then spend three days adventuring (backpacking, climbing, camping, caving, hiking, and/or canyoneering), ending with a memorable lunch back on the SUU campus.  After their adventure, participants will attend traditional orientation as a team.

Anyone interested in becoming involved as an Adventure Orientation Leader in the future can email suuoec@gmail.com for more information.
