Non-SUU courses

There are many courses available for education and certification in various outdoor skills and knowledge areas. These courses are useful, and some are often required in certain fields. This is a sampling of common courses offered locally and around the nation.

Wilderness First Responder 

  • There are WFR and WFA courses offered each spring through SUU. Scholarships are available for these courses. Contact Kelly Goonan (Phone 865-8098, Office - PEB 205) or Jacob Manning (Phone 586-7831, Office - PEB 206) with questions.
