PUBLICATIONS | Submit for Approval

The Office of University Relations has been given the responsibility of maintaining professional graphic design and brand identity standards in the materials that represent SUU. Any type of design (brochures, posters, banners, t-shirts, ads, websites, etc. etc.) that will be seen by the public (including students) must be approved before it is produced so that all materials incorporate the correct marks of the University and minimum design standards.

Misuse of the marks and/or production of substandard materials may result in wasted time, money, and possible seizure of the product.

To submit your design for review

Send an e-mail with the proof attached to publications@suu.edu. PDF is the best file type to use, but we can also open and view other file types (see list below).

We do our best to get right back to you with any comments or suggestions, usually within half a day and often within the hour. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us.

Accepted file types

  • PDF - Preferred, because it usually best preserves the look of your document's fonts, art and layout.
  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • JPEG (.jpg)
  • Adobe Indesign (.indd)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd)

File types that we cannot open:

  • Microsoft Publisher (.pub). Please save as a PDF
  • Corel WordPerfect (.wpd)
