Facilities Safety and Risk Management

Southern Utah University Facilities Management is committed to the health and safety of its employees along with that of the greater SUU community. Through proper training, work practices, and prompt emergency response, the environment we create at work will be clean, safe, and efficient.

Facilities Management complies with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Construction and General Industry Standards, Environmental Protection Agency Standards, and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. This compliance helps to prevent injury, protect property, train employees, reduce exposure to potential hazards, and improves the SUU community experience. Facilities Management intends to meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and serve as an example within Higher Education as a safe organization.
