Student Alumni Association (SAA)
The Student Alumni Association facilitates interaction and understanding between current
students and the Southern Utah University Alumni Association.
We work to enhance the student experience by providing leadership and involvement opportunities that build and strengthen lifelong loyalty to SUU while helping students become aware of their future role as an SUU alumnus. SAA plays a large role in the education and protection of SUU Traditions as they oversee the Tradition Keeper Program on campus.
Student Alumni also takes an active role in Homecoming, President’s Gala, Founders Celebration, and Graduation festivities as well as other SUU special events and concerts where alumni and students come together. The group sponsors several events including True T-Bird Night, seeing the Ghost of Virginia, SUU Traditions and Final’s Survival Kits. Student Alumni provides a unique opportunity to serve the University while building resumes, gaining experience with event management, and networking with SUU graduates.
