The Top 3 Christmas Light Displays in Cedar City

Tis’ the season for rushing to and from stores, dealing with crowds and purchasing presents, but take some time to shine Christmas cheer into your life with a leisurely drive to Cedar City’s most well-decorated homes. Neighborhoods throughout the community are decorated and give a whole new meaning to Color Country, so here are the top three Christmas light displays in Cedar City, Utah.
1. Christmas Lane
One of the hidden holiday gems in Cedar City is called Christmas Lane where an entire neighborhood joins forces to tell the story of "The Night Before Christmas." Each house decorates as they please, but they all tie together with a piece of the story on the front lawn. This is a great activity for a family or a group of friends as they get into the holiday spirit and is a tradition that will have you coming back every year.
Christmas Lane is located in the Canyon Ridge neighborhood, tucked away by the Cedar Ridge Golf Course.
2. Holiday Light Extravaganza
If over the top is your style, the Holiday Light Extravaganza sounds like the perfect light display for you. Every year, Ben Hohman shares his love of decorating with the Cedar City community by covering his house, front yard, and backyard with lights and decorations. When you first pull up to the house, Christmas songs are playing and the lights are twinkling in tune with the music. If you take a closer look at the house, you will notice there is a sign directing you on a path to view more displays in the backyard. The Holiday Light Extravaganza is not something you want to miss, but make sure to bundle up as you leave the warmth of your car to enjoy the entire experience.

3. Downtown Main Street
In the heart of Cedar City, is a light display that truly defines small town America. The lights draped from building to building provide a beautiful view as you drive through the downtown area. There is also a sleigh located on the southwest corner of Center and Main perfect for family pictures.
Start at Center Street and head north to get the full Main Street experience.
While you're out and about looking at Christmas lights, stay warm with one of the best cups of hot chocolate in town.
