- Cut your sponge into a shape of your choosing (triangle for a watermelon, circle for a sun, etc.)
- Apply paint to one side of your sponge
- Using your sponge as a stamp, stamp your doormat in a pattern of your choosing
- Let the paint dry overnight
Method #3: Stencil
- Select a stencil, or print a design to cut out a stencil
- Place the stencil on your doormat, and secure it with tape
- Paint within your stencil
