Support student-owned businesses this holiday seasonAs the holiday season approaches and gift shopping becomes a priority, Southern Utah University students and parents alike are looking for the perfect way to support their peers and find great presents. Here are some awesome options to support SUU’s student entrepreneurs and find the perfect gift for your student this holiday season.

H. E. S. Customs

Founded by SUU student Ethan Smith, H. E. S. Customs designs custom shoes for anyone interested in adding some personality to their footwear. Knotty Love Adornments

Knotty Love Adornments is a small business operated by SUU alumna Isabella Giordano and her partner Jarrod Richmer. The pair sell hand-knotted, curated, custom malas and adornments as well as handcrafted candles. Currently, the pair is running a 10% off sale in their shop on all products. Band-A-Loos Boutique

Band-A-Loos Boutique, created by SUU senior Shylah Glenn and her husband during their summer quarantine, is a boutique that sells handcrafted jewelry and crochet headbands, perfect for the people you love. Reece & Co.

The winner of last year’s Opportunity Quest Business Model Competition, Kiana Lake’s Reece & Co. is an accessory shop that specializes in tassels and bags. The shop was founded after Kiana found success in 2019 making and selling tassels, first on Instagram and now on the official shop on her website. For more information, visit Reece & Co.

Ava Rei

Founded by SUU student Courtney Glad, Ava Rei sells handcrafted Morse code bracelets. These bracelets are simple beaded bracelets with circle and square bead to represent dots and dashes in Morse code, which allows customers to create custom messages that are secret and special to them.
