Community Education Student: Kellie Langeliers

What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn, but never had the chance to? SUU’s Community & Professional Development Office offers community education classes to provide southern Utah residents and their friends with the opportunity to jump into new hobbies. Kellie Langeliers, a native southern Utahn who recently participated in the Floral Design Class, had a personal interest in doing so. “I took this class because I’m starting a flower farm here in southern Utah, and I wanted to learn what to do with the flowers I’m growing,” she said. “I learned about focal flowers, fillers and greenery, and how all of these elements come together to make a beautiful arrangement.” Not sure if you’d enjoy a class like this one? Kellie thinks you might. “Not only did I have fun, but I gained a skill that will always come in handy,” she added. “Who doesn’t love flowers?”
