Access Utah Promise Scholarship
The Access Utah Promise Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship program. This program can help pay for tuition and fees in qualifying circumstances. To qualify for the Access Utah Promise Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have not received an associate degree or higher postsecondary degree.
- Be a resident of Utah
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Accept all other grants, tuition/fee waivers, and scholarships offered to the applicant.
- Maintain and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
A recipient may receive scholarship funds until one of the following occurs.
- Two years after the initial award.
- A recipient uses the scholarship for four semesters.
- A recipient meets the academic qualifications for an associate degree.
- Or earns a cumulative total of 60 credits.
How to apply
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by going to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
Terms
- Recipients must submit a FAFSA each year to determine if they meet the income level requirements.
- If a student is selected for verification, verification must be completed before funds are disbursed onto the student's account.

***This is a last dollar scholarship. It may be reduced and/or cancelled if another scholarship comes in after it is applied to the recipients account.
