About Partners in the Parks

Partners in the Parks is an outdoor experiential learning program sponsored by the SUU Honors Program and Cedar Breaks National Monument in cooperation with the National Collegiate Honors Council. This innovative program takes honors students from across America into national parks for week- long academic adventures.  There are 7-10 projects every year that span the country from coast-to-coast with dates to fit students’ summer schedules and parks/activities to fit a wide variety of participants.  PITP is a great way for students/faculty to “see America first” while living and learning in some of the most beautiful and memorable places in the U.S.
