The department of Short-Term Programs & HomeStay are excellent cultural programs that offer international students the experience of living in southern Utah, learning about the local environment while practicing new language skills and understanding American culture.

HomeStay allows students the opportunity to improve their English language skills in an American home environment while building strong relationships with their new family members. Students will have the chance to fully embrace the American culture as they live with a local family and participate in daily activities.

Customized Short-Term Programs (1-4 weeks) allow global students to improve their English language skills in a fun and engaging learning environment while obtaining knowledge about the American university college experience. Students can partake in academic and cultural activities while learning about and living in southern Utah, with options to explore local national parks and other travel destinations.
