Change of Status

Students may change their status from one visa type to another visa type in order to continue as a student at SUU. This process can take several months, and students are encouraged to begin the process early.

Common changes include J to F-1, F-2 to F-1, and F-1 to F-2. Each process is listed below and help with the process is available in the Global Engagement Center.
