SUU Animal Ambassadors functions as an outreach arm of the Walter Maxwell Gibson College of Sciences to educate the public about animals, science and studying the sciences at SUU. This club provides an opportunity for student to engage in meaningful community service and provide a forum where SUU students may share their knowledge with others.
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is an honor society for students, particularly undergraduates, dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.
The Chemistry Club is an academic club that involves students interested in science who appreciate the involvement of chemistry in every aspect of life. We are a volunteer-based organization with a focus on excellence and fun.
The SUU Geology Club is dedicated to helping students who are interested in geology engage with like-minded peers. The club is a place for all students and the surrounding community to come together to share their knowledge of the landscape, connect with friends, and provide educational opportunities for those who want to look more into geology in the Cedar City area.
The Society of Sigma Gamma Epsilon was established to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the Earth Sciences. It has for its objectives the scholastic, scientific, and professional advancement of its members and the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities which are devoted to the advancement of the Earth Sciences.
Meets monthly to discuss current undergraduate research projects.
Coordinates travel arrangements for students to attend UCUR and the Utah Academy of Sciences and Letters.
The purpose of the WISE club is to: (1) provide a camaraderie for women majoring in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, (2) provide opportunities for mentorship and guidance for STEM students and faculty, (3) promote research opportunities within the Walter Maxwell College of Science and Engineering, and (4) provide support and learning opportunities in the community through service and volunteerism.
