Career and Summer Job Fair at SUU, February 21

Southern Utah University’s annual Career and Summer Job Fair will be held February 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Sharwan Smith Center Ballroom. The Fair is open to SUU students and alumni in all majors, and welcomes employers from all over.

May graduates and students seeking internships or summer jobs are strongly encouraged to bring resumes and dress appropriately to meet with some 80 employers. This environment offers students the fantastic opportunity to meet potential employers, discuss career trends, and gather information about career issues from working professionals in the fields of their interest.

Some of the employers in attendance at the Fair will include: Abercrombie and Fitch, the Cedar City Police Department, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Deloitte financial firm, Girl Scouts of America, Southwest Gas Corporation, USDA Farm Service Agency—just to name a few.

A great strategy in preparing and establishing a career, the SUU Fair, produced by the University’s Career Services Office, is a direct connection for hundreds of students to the business world and in molding their future.
