He attributes the Utah System of Higher Education with being a primary contributor to the state’s ability to foster new jobs, new industry, and a better way of life for all Utahans. He recognizes that well trained students who are prepared to enter the workforce will aid in his effort to bolster the economic development within the state, as well as the nation.
It is due to these life experiences and knowledge that Huntsman was selected to deliver the commencement address this year.
Commencement will begin at 9 a.m. with the selected keynote and student speakers, awarding of honorary doctorate degrees and other special recognitions.
