New Communications Director Announced at Southern Utah University

Jennifer Burt has been appointed as SUU Marketing’s new Director of Communications. She replaces Renee Ballenger, who now works as Nebraska Public Power District’s Senior Communication Specialist.

Burt comes to SUU most recently from Northern Utah, where she taught writing classes at Utah Valley State College for the past year. Before that, she worked in development and alumni relations at the Medical University of Ohio and Bowling Green State University, respectively.

“I’m excited to return to Cedar,” says Burt, who completed her first two years of undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University. “The campus community at SUU is more positive and involved than any other school I’ve experienced. I’m happy to join in, and look forward to contributing to the University’s continued success.”
