SUU in Kanab

Southern Utah University’s President Michael T. Benson will host a community open house in Kanab to become better acquainted with the community and to discuss SUU’s future presence in Kane County.

The event, at the Parry Lodge on Thursday, November 15 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., is open to all area residents, community leaders, prospective students and SUU alumni. The Parry Lodge is located at 89 East Center Street in Kanab.

In addition to President Benson’s presentation, SUU’s Southern Utah Alumni Chapter will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional institutional information.

There will also be a free drawing for prizes open to all those in attendance. Prizes include SUU memorabilia, clothing and tickets to the Oak Ridge Boys concert at SUU at the end of November.

Complete details about Southern Utah University’s future partnerships in Kane County will be announced at Thursday night’s open house.
