New Miss SUU to be Crowned Saturday

What:
Southern Utah University’s nine Miss SUU contestants will compete for the crown in the annual Miss SUU Pageant. Tickets to the event are $5 for students and $8 for everyone else.

Where:
Southern Utah University’s Randall Jones Theatre, just off University Boulevard & 300 West

When:
Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

Why:
The competing young women come to SUU as students from all over the state, with academic interests that include architecture and interior design, nursing, psychology, theater, photography, biology, English and dance. The newly-crowned Miss SUU will go on to represent Southern Utah University across the state. In addition, Miss SUU will serve the campus and local communities while promoting her winning platform.
