SUU’s Thunderbird Awards Slated for Saturday

What:
Southern Utah University and SUUSA (SUU’s Student Association) are excited to present the annual Thunderbird Awards, a formal event patterned after the Academy Awards to recognize SUU’s best and brightest students, faculty and staff members.

The Thunderbird Awards have been part of SUU’s student life since 1950. Each year, faculty, staff and students alike eagerly await this end-of-year celebration.

When:
The 2008 Thunderbird Awards will be held this Saturday, April 19, at 6 p.m.

Who:
All members of the community and press are invited to join in the festivities, at no charge.

Where:
This year’s T-Bird Awards will be held in the Sharwan Smith Center Ballroom.
Light refreshments will be served in the Sharwan Smith Center’s Starlight Room immediately following the awards ceremony.
