Help Wipe Out Need on Make a Difference Day

What:
Southern Utah University’s Service and Learning Center and the Volunteer Center of Iron County will host a morning full of family-friendly events for Iron County’s Make a Difference Day, with events planned to generate non-food item donations that will benefit the local Family Support Center and the Iron County Care and Share.

When:
Iron County Make a Difference Day is slated for this Saturday, October 25. Activities will kick off at 10 a.m. with a 2k and 5k walk/run along the Coal Creek Trail with additional family friendly activities and prizes.

Who:
All members of the community and press are invited to join in the fun. Admission to all of the morning’s events is a donation of toilet paper, soap, shampoo, diapers or any other essential non-food item.
Those interested in donating who cannot attend the morning’s activities may also drop off non-food essentials donations at SUU’s Service and Learning Center within the Sharwan Smith Student Center any time through October 31.
