SUU to Host Fall Career & Internship Fair

Southern Utah University will host its annual Fall Career and Internship Fair next Wednesday, October 15 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Ballroom of SUU’s Sharwan Smith Center.

To date, more than 60 companies have reserved space at the Fair to assist in their recruitment of SUU’s students and graduates. Michael Carmine in SUU’s Career Services anticipates that number will continue to rise over the next week.

Carmine encourages those who’ve not yet made plans to promote their company’s staffing needs at the fair to contact the University’s Career Services, as space is still available. SUU’s Career Fair is one of the most efficient ways for employers to make contact with large pools of qualified, educated applicants.

As to those looking for employment, this year’s fair will feature companies from across the country, giving students from all disciplines an opportunity to match their interests and talents with a similar-minded organization.

SUU reviews participating employers after each fair, to better gauge both student and employers’ interests, extending invitations to as many businesses as possible. Each year, the group of recruiting employers is better refined to meet the interests and strengths of SUU’s student body.
